Max loves people. He doesn't much enjoy being by himself and prefers to hang with his peeps (the volunteers) here at the shelter.
He can be highly active if you want to play, or he can sit calmly on your lap for some shared down time. He has proven to be a well-mannered dog with a playful silly side. Max is looking for a home with people he can please and keep entertained. Buddys Best Home

Size: 60 lbs.
Otis is not only a good-looking dog, but he's a smart and playful companion. His outgoing and attentive personality makes him the perfect addition to an active household. He's looking for a leader in which to offer his loyalty and devotion, and also to have fun with. He loves to play and is aware of proper boundaries.
Local residents who were unable to keep him themselves found him as a stray at Sawtooth Canyon near Barstow. They knew that K-9 PALS would take good care of Otis and find him a terrific new home. To be honest, it shouldn't be too difficult with a terrific dog such as Otis. Buddys Best Home

Here's Dodger

Age: 8-10 years old
Size: 40 lbs.
Dodger needs medication and to be bathed often due to a skin condition. He also has a heart murmur, and the vet suspects degenerative joint disease of the hip. BUT...
...when you meet Dodger you'll see quite a different dog. Not only is Dodger an expert at fetch but he will surprise you with his stamina. The sheer joy this boy has when he plays is so contagious that it will relieve the stress from any lucky person that joins him in a game of fetch.
Look in Dodger's eyes and you'll see a lot of life there. He's waiting to share it with some special person or family.
